Environment.
FMA has always been particularly sensitive to all the aspects of environmental sustainability, health and safety.
In particular, it favors energy suppliers who privilege renewable sources, thanks to the many photovoltaic, wind and hydroelectric plants scattered throughout the country. The use of plants which work with natural gas allows to have a low CO₂ emission while the water forging plants ensure a limited environmental impact which also determines a positive effect on safety, as it allows to avoid the risk of oil spills or fires.
Forgiatura Moderna Arese plans in the future to focus more and more on these aspects in order to minimize its ecological footprint; this vision is confirmed by the ISO 45001: 2018 certification for the worker health and safety management system, and by the ISO 14001: 2015 certification for the environmental management system, both issued by Lloyd’s Register.
